Hosting Policy

We currently offer two tiers of hosting for all our WordPress websites. They are the Basic Level and Full Cover. We will normally tell you on the quote & when you go live what version of cover you have but if you are unsure please contact us.

You may upgrade your cover at any stage by asking for a quote.

Basic Level

All our websites on the basic level include the following:

  • Managed WordPress hosting on a secure and reliable dedicated server that is fully optimised for WordPress & PHP.
  • Up to 10GB storage, supporting bandwidth up to 50k monthly visits.
  • High-speed SSD storage for faster website performance and page load.
  • Monthly backups to ensure that your website’s data is always protected.
  • Advanced security features, including firewalls and malware scanning.
  • Free SSL certificate to ensure that your website is secure.
  • Free training material & guidance on how to manage the website CMS.
  • 10 to 6, Mon to Fri telephone & email support with an aim to solve any issue within 3 working days.

Full Cover

This includes everything in Basic Level and the following:

  • Automatic monthly updates including WordPress core, theme, CMS & supported plugins.
  • Website speed configured & optimised with WP Rocket Premium.
  • All images uploaded optimised with ShortPixel Premium.
  • SEO configured & enhanced with RankMath Premium.
  • Uptime Monitoring with instant alerts if there is any downtime.
  • 404 Monitor (Checking for any broken links)
  • Premium SEO & Analytics dashboard with monthly reporting offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Supported Plugins

Because plugins are beyond our control, and can conflict or introduce security vulnerabilities, we cannot support all of them in our plans. We support compatibility for the following:

  • CookieYes
  • Widgets for Google Reviews
  • WP Rocket
  • RankMath
  • Yoast SEO
  • Contact Form 7
  • FluentSMTP

If you would like support for a plugin that is not on the list above please contact us and we will do our best to include this if we can.

FAQs

Do you offer help with content updates?

While ongoing content updates aren’t included as part of your hosting plan, I’m always happy to help with the occasional tweak or quick update, it just depends on the nature of the request and how long it’ll take.

If something needs more time or regular attention, I’ll let you know in advance and can offer a fair quote if needed.

I think my website has errors, can you fix them?

If something’s not quite right with your website, we’re here to help. We’ll investigate the issue thoroughly and fix anything related to WordPress, your hosting server, or your theme. In cases where a plugin is causing the problem, we’ll let you know.

If the issue stems from changes made on your end that can’t be easily undone, we can roll your site back to a backup from the past 30 days to get things running smoothly again.

How do I cancel my hosting?

All hosting is on a 30-day rolling contract. As long as you are not in arrears, you may move your website to any other host provider. Please contact us before your new billing period.

Note: that if you cancel Full Cover then premium access for any plugins will end, and you will need to seek out your own premium licence keys.
